    This seat has a full metal back where the John Deere seat is plastic and this seats upholstery is very durable. We are not a John Deere dealer so we will not be able to answer questions dealing with what applications it will fit so please check your mounting pattern and then look at the picture of our mounting pattern to see if it will work.     I replaced the old seat on my Craftsman lawn trator with this seat from The Smart Farmer. The seat is durable, high quality and most of all comfortable. It is just as nice as the ones on my larger Deere tractor. Plus, the yellow doesnt get near as hot in the Colorado sun.
